ASNR Report 2025

LES ACTIVITÉS NUCLÉAIRES : RAYONNEMENTS IONISANTS ET RISQUES POUR LA SANTÉ ET L’ENVIRONNEMENT identification of the corresponding potential hazards. It must also be able to take the necessary steps in the event of any incident or accident situations which would lead to pollution. The licensee must thus for instance precisely identify the location of each dangerous substance on its site, along with the corresponding quantities. Drums and tanks must be labelled in compliance with the European Classification, Labelling, Packaging (CLP) regulation and there must be retention areas designed to collect any spills. The NPPs must also adopt an organisation and resources to prevent pollution of the natural environment (groundwater, river, estuary, sea, soil). 2.6.3 – Assessment of control of environmental and health impacts and non-radiological hazards ASNR monitors on the ground the organisational and material measures put into place by EDF to prevent non-radiological risks and the liquid pollution that could result from the dangerous substances present in its installations. It also checks those designed to guarantee control of the detrimental effects arising from the operation of the installations, such as water intake, effluent discharges into the natural environment, and pathogenic hazards. As it does every year, ASNR carried out inspections on these measures in 2025. In particular, ASNR carried out a campaign of inspections with situational exercises at several sites on the subject 2024 2025 2023 2022 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 6.20 6.43 5.39 5.85 5.80 5.87 5.98 5.96 5.49 5.45 5.40 5.0 5.2 5.4 5.6 5.8 6.0 6.2 6.4 6.6 6.8 7.0 This graph includes data for the Fessenheim NPP up until 2020 and the data for the Flamanville NPP EPR reactor from 2025 onwards.
