CALOGENA
On October 31, 2024, CALOGENA submitted a request for an opinion to ASN regarding some of the safety options chosen for its small modular reactor project, CAL30.
On June 20, 2025, CALOGENA submitted an amendment to the scope of this application.
On December 19, 2025, CALOGENA submitted a second request for an opinion to ASNR regarding some of the safety options chosen for its small modular reactor project CAL30..
On January 6, 2026, CALOGENA submitted a third request for an opinion to ASNR regarding some of the safety options chosen for its small modular reactor project CAL30.
NEWCLEO
On December 23, 2025, CALOGENA submitted a request for an opinion to ASNR regarding some of the safety options chosen for its small modular reactor project LFR-AS-30.
| JIMMY
On May 3, 2024, ASN has received a copy of the DAC request for the construction of a reactor intended to supply heat to the Cristal Union’s industrial facility located in Bazancourt (51).
On May 6 2024, the ASN was asked by the MSNR to carry out a technical examination of the request.
On December 30, 2024, ASN sent to MSNR a list of additional information to be requested from Jimmy in order to continue the technical assessment of the application.
On February 13, 2025, the MSNR asked Jimmy to complete his file to allow his investigation to continue. The technical assessment is suspended pending receipt of these additional documents.
Jimmy informed the MSNR that the requested additional documents were expected to be submitted by March 2026.
STELLARIA
On December 19, 2025, ASNR has received a copy of the license application file of an experimental reactor on the Cadarache nuclear site of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
On December 22, 2025, ASNR was asked by the MSNR to carry out a technical examination of the application file. |
